Rad Hard Multimode Fiber
j-fiber introduces OptiGrade R.H. - its next generation high bandwith Multimode fiber for 10Gb/s transmission at 850nm designed to withstand radiation threats.
OptiGrade R.H. features a graded index configuration with a DMD controlled 50/125 core/clad design and is optimized for use in 850nm wavelength operation to allow for low cost system applications. Its radiation performance has been assessed for both, pulsed and continuous irradiation.
j-fiber's standard radiation hard Multimode fibers are offered in graded-index configurations and in core sizes of 50µm, 62.5µm and 100µm.

j-fiber introduces its enhanced version of radiation hard Singlemode fiber. It shows excellent recovery times after pulsed and continues irradiation with doses up to 3000rad. Compliant to G.652.B, the fiber is optimized to operate in the 1310nm and 1550nm window.
Ideal for applications which require shortest recovery times such as in military plane systems or ground communication.
In addition the fiber is also available in our 500µm coating design for rugged cable constructions.
