J-Fiber Jena

Step Index Multimode Fiber

By combining j-plasma’s PBVD and j-fiber’s MCVD process technologies and using our own fused synthetic silica low/high-OH materials, we are able to make performs that fulfill most demanding fiber performance requirements. Our step index Multimode fibers therefore feature superior geometries, best fiber strength, maximum fiber stability and life-time; they offer a variety of dopants, core size or shape design options for use in UV/VIS, VIS/NIR or VIS/IR range applications in high-power laser transmission, sensing, or material handling.

Our step index Multimode fiber portfolio in the overview

Solarization Resistant Fibers

Specialty-box

Ultraviolet radiation exposure impacts the transmission performance and life time of silica fibers. With j-Ultrasol, j-fiber has developed a solarization resistant fiber for long fiber life, and highest transmission stability under UV exposure; for short life time use applications j-Lowsol provides high transmission stability at short time UV exposure. more...

Step Index Multimode Fiber VIS-IR

Specialty-box

j-fiber’s Step index Multimode fibers for laser power medicine and industry applications have a step index profile, an undoped core and a fluorine doped cladding. Based on j-plasma preforms Step index Multimode fiber 105/125 VIS-IR and 200/240 VIS-IR provide high fiber strength and superior fiber geometry and can be delivered with high OH content for UV-VIS range application.more...

High Power Small Core - HPSC Fiber

Specialty-box

Step index Multimode fiber with ultra-high stability, reliability and long fiber life time for high power laser transmission. HPSC fiber has been designed to provide high power laser signal transmission in the near-UV and visible range (280nm up to 750nm) which makes it the ideal fiber for sensing, photonics and material handling applications.more...

j-NCS Non-cicular Shape Fibers

Rechteck

j-fiber’s series of fluorine doped step index (FSI) Multimode fibers with an undoped synthetic fused silica core and a fluorine doped silica cladding. Designed for laser, high power transmission, maging, spectroscopy and medical applications at UV/VIS, VIS/NIR or VIS/IR wavelengths, j-NCS fibers offer a large variety of core/clad shape designs and customized design options.more...
