Find the best preform design for your specialty fiber application

Using the joint j-fiber, j-plasma and FiberCore Machinery process technologies and resources, we design and make your preform according to your specific requirements. We thereby specify the preform design and configuration in profile (step or graded index), dopant option to build the required profile (Germanium, Fluoride, Boron, or Rare-earth elements) and determine the fiber’s geometry. We then manufacture and treat the preform by applying the appropriate process technology: MCVD/inside deposition for graded index and step index preforms; PBVD/outside deposition for large core step index fiber, capillary fiber or hollow core fiber making; jacketing or direct deposition or additional treatment. Upon request we also draw your
fibers based on your preforms.
