J-Fiber Jena

j-GIPC series - Graded Index Polymer Clad Multimode Fiber

Robust industry specialty fibers for highest bandwidth performance and field-connect precision

j-GIPC62 and j-GIPC50 have been designed for use in rough environmental conditions or certain short to medium distance communication applications. They fulfill the demands for robust fiber construction and ease of use while offering the bandwidth performance ranges of standard telecommunication fibers.
j-GIPC62 and j-GIPC50 fibers are best suited for increased data transfer rates in industrial environments featuring high bandwidth OM2 (j-GIPC 50) or OM1 (j-GIPC 62) performance at the optical link. The 200µm form factor allows the fiber to withstand a threefold higher mechanical load compared to standard 125µm glass diameter fibers (30 vs.10 N). Equipped with our JFC-23 special coating and JFB-16 buffer material, the fiber proves excellent temperature performance. j-GIPC fibers provide for fast, efficient, easy handling and Crimp&Cleave connectivity due to an easy strippable 500 µm ETFE buffer material and the excellent fiber geometry and precision.
