j-BDSR – Boron Doped Silica Rods

j-fiber BDSR boron doped silica rods are used for the manufacturing of Panda-style polarization maintaining fibers (PM). Boron doped rods are thereby inserted into a preform as stress applying parts. The special preform design provides for high yield fiber manufacturing due to a high birefringence waveguide structure that preserves the linear polarization of the input beam along the fiber length.
