• Fibers and Preforms made by j-fiber: j-fiber GmbH offers a unique set of solutions and services for the design and make of best optical fiber based technologies. As one of the worldwide leading suppliers of high-performance Multimode and Singlemode optical fibers, j-fiber supports structured cabling installations in advanced LAN and datacenters as well as FttH and long distance networks. Its specialty fiber and preform solutions help to enable high-end photonics device technologies in industrial, medical, defense or R+D applications.
• Specialty fiber preforms and ultra-pure fused silica from j-plasma: Subsidiary j-plasma supports j-fiber’s position as a specialty fiber expert by contributing design, make and treatment of step-index preforms, fused silica materials and plasma-based processing.
• MCVD equipment, custom configured draw tower projects, expert engineering and fiber based OEM solutions: With Fibercore Machinery GmbH, j-fiber group has its own in-house competence center for MCVD preform lathes and supplies contributing to j-fiber manufacturing excellence and processing efficiency. Fibercore Machinery also shares its knowledge in customized draw tower configuration projects, MCVD processing equipment or fiber based OEM solutions.
